Taking a Leap
Date: Wednesday 31st August
Time: Doors Open 5.30pm for 6pm start
Venue: Microsoft, Waverley Gate, 2-4 Waterloo Place, Edinburgh, EH1 3EG
Thinking of making a change but not quite sure where to start? Happy where you are but ready to be inspired by three leading women in the IT industry?
Gillian Docherty, CEO of The Data Lab, Leah Hutcheon, CEO of Appointedd, and Alison McLaughlin, Sopra Steria’s Regional Director for Scotland and Northern Ireland will be sharing their personal stories with us, including the leaps they have made recently; we’ll also have the opportunity to quiz them.
Gillian moved from leading software sales in Scotland as part of a long career in IBM to head up newly launched The Data Lab. Leah took the risk of setting up her own company. Alison recently made the career choice to reduce her hours and focus on the local business in Scotland and NI.
Our event will start at 6pm, with doors open for some networking from 5.30pm, and formal proceedings will finish at approximately 7.30pm with more time for networking afterwards.
Refreshments will be provided, sponsored by Spring Technologies.
This event is fully booked.
