The first meetup of Women in Tech, Scotland will provide a chance to hear from women working in a range of tech roles in Scotland and for discussion on topics, speakers and venues for future events.
The venue is downstairs in Blackfriars Pub, Merchant City in Glasgow city centre.

Geraldine is the Business Adviser for Equate Scotland at Edinburgh Napier University. She advises SET employers on gender issues in workplace culture.
Sarah Currier, Urban Big Data Centre – Investigating urban research problems with big data
Sarah is Senior Project Manager with the Urban Big Data Centre, which analyses big data, to support policymakers, businesses and communities develop effective solutions.
Silka Patel, Cisco – Scotland Women in Technology
Silka founded and has run the Scotland Women in Technology group for a number of years.
Grainne Hamilton, DigitalMe – Digital credentials. Plays, pathways and ending up in tech
Grainne is Programme Director for HE and Adult Learning with DigitalMe, a not-for-profit that is enabling a new skills currency with digital credentials / Open Badges.
