Hear fascinating insights from Leonardo’s Deputy Head of Electronics Engineering, Dr Carol Marsh OBE, as she explores women’s role as trailblazers in the world of computing, from Ada Lovelace’s first ground-breaking research into computer programming to today’s innovators. Women started off as ‘Human Computers’, then became programmers with the advent of Electronic Computers. Women’s innovations in computing have changed modern life, but they have remained hidden until now. Carol will share details of these women’s extraordinary work which still affects us directly today.
