Do you ever struggle to convey why it’s important to have events with women in mind? Together we will tackle the challenging questions and equip ourselves to respond with confidence.
BCSWomen’s ‘Discussing Diversity’ event will provide you with the tools you need to answer difficult questions you can come across in the industry. This event is not a self defense class, but rather an opportunity for those of all backgrounds and genders to learn how to educate, discuss and help grow the conversation surrounding diversity and inclusion in technology. Coupled with a short workshop, this event will prepare you with solid responses to difficult questions related to being a woman in technology and leave you with the ability to discuss diversity in a constructive way.
Suzanne Doyle-Morris – Founder and CEO of inclusiq has 25 years experience within gender balance and diversity issues. Author, coach, public speaker, consultant and more, Suzanne dedicates her career to helping women working in male-dominated fields advance their careers, and helps organisations improve their cultures and increase gender equality.
Ian McLaren Wallace – a highly experienced, award-winning leading psychologist, whose methods are based on the latest research in understanding human behaviour.
This is a free event, and nibbles and drinks will be available for all attendees. All backgrounds and genders are encouraged to register.
