Title: Data and Systems Integration Intern

Our client is a rapidly growing global sustainability consultancy, is looking for an intern to support the Roots function of the business, our internal operations team, which supports the company’s global team by bringing innovative solutions to our back of house operations.
As part of our internal operations team, the Roots team, we are looking to recruit an intern to support our 2018 systems integration project, to help us make the transition from a locally based server to a global, cloud based system to enable greater interaction between colleagues and to enable more flexible working.

This role will provide the candidate with the opportunity for extending project management skills as well as multiple, international stakeholder engagement skills, the possibility of delivering training (supported) and for developing technical skills and capability, supported by and working closely with a number of senior and technical people, globally.
You will work with a small team of colleagues, globally, under instruction. You will be expected to work independently, to manage elements of this project related to your tasks and processes, liaising with teams as necessary and logging progress. Training will be provided on Microsoft Sharepoint and other systems as required and instructions will be given.
You will be providing support for the day‐to‐day management and roll out of collaboration improvements within Microsoft 365, providing assistance with user data aggregation and cleansing, and with the development of automation to minimise ongoing human management, as well as supporting the day‐to‐day management and roll out of Microsoft 365 cloud‐based security measures to prepare for GDPR compliance.
You will also be supporting the day‐to‐day management and roll out of the company’s cloud‐based client relationship management (CRM), project management and invoicing reporting system, as well as providing assistance with system administration, data cleansing & management, and new user set up & training. There will also be elements of process documentation, survey result evaluation, data migration, use case testing, and summarising cases for change.
This is not an exhaustive list and support with other tasks may be required. Some of these may be administrative related and guidance will be given as and when required.
